Hello and welcome to another edition of ‘Live Blogging on Shish on College Basketball’. Tonight it is Big Ten action as the Indiana Hoosiers take on Michigan State Spartans. Hoosiers come into tonight’s game, with a record of 11-7, while Michigan St. comes in with a record of 16-3. Both teams come in with a conference record of 4-2. This is an important game for both teams as they are trying to stay in pace with Purdue and Ohio St.

The Hoosiers are coming off a home blowout win vs. Northwestern this past Sunday. They defeated the Wildcats 66-46. They were only leading by 5 at Halftime, but Juwan Morgan returns to the floor, after being in foul trouble in the 1st Half. He sparked the Hoosiers with a couple of baskets and that is all Indiana needed to get a home win.

Statistically the Hoosiers are led by Juwan Morgan leads the Hoosiers in scoring, and rebounding. Josh Reddick leads the Hoosiers in assists.

As for the Spartans, they are in a little bit of a skid. They have dropped 2 out of last 3 games, including their loss to Ohio St. They are hoping to get back on track to their quest for a national championship.

Statistically Sparty is led by Miles Bridges in scoring. Nick Ward in rebounds. Finally Cassius Winston leads Michigan St. in assists.

Well the 6-day layoff worked out for the Spartans. They played with a sense of urgency. As for the Hoosiers, they were no match to Michigan State's inside game.
