Hello and welcome to another edition of 'Live Blogging on Shish on College Basketball'. This Afternoon it is the 2018 Maui Invitational: Auburn Tigers taking on Xavier Musketeers. The Tigers are coming in with a record of 3-0, while the Musketeers come in with a record of 2-1. 

The Tigers are hoping that they can prove that they are for real and try and knock off Kentucky for SEC Supremacy. While the Musketeers hoping to show that they can be a legitimate contender in the NCAA Tournament. 

The Tigers average 97.3 PPG, while allowing 58.7 PPG. They rebound 49.7 RPG, and distribute the ball at 18 APG. Meanwhile the Musketeers average 80.3 PPG, while allowing 77.0 PPG. They rebound at 42 RPG, and distribute the ball at 15.3 APG. 

The Tigers are led by Samir Doughty in scoring, Horace Spencer in rebounding, and Jared Harper in assists. While the Musketeers are led by Naji Marshall in scoring and assists and  Tyrique Jones in rebounding.

Auburn got tested, but Brown and Harper carried the Tigers to the Semifinals of the 2018 Maui Invitational Tournament. As for the Musketeers, their free throws kept them in the game. But it wasn't enough against Auburn. 

Auburn will play the winner of Duke/San Diego State. While Xavier will play the loser of Duke/San Diego State.
