South Carolina Vs. Florida (East Regional Final)
Hello and welcome to another edition of 'Live Blogging On Shish On College Basketball'.  This afternoon, it is a NCAA MBK Tournament East Regional Final, between South Carolina Gamecocks and Florida Gators.   South Carolina is a #7 seed in the East, while Florida is the East's #4 seed.  

This is the third meeting of the year between these two programs.   Both teams split the last two meetings, on their home court.  The winner of this game, guarantees the SEC will get a bid into the Final Four.  The winner of this game will play Gonzaga on Saturday.  

South Carolina comes into today's game, having defeated Marquette, Duke and Baylor.   The Gamecocks are lead by Sindarius Thornwell in scoring, rebounding, and share of assists lead with P.J. Dozier.  

Florida comes into today's game, having defeated East Tennessee St., Virginia, and Wisconsin in overtime.  The Gators are lead by Kevaughn Allen in scoring, Devon Robinson in rebounding, and Kasey Hill in assists.  

It is the South Carolina Gamecocks and the Florida Gators, coming up shortly.

Final Thoughts: South Carolina overcame a 7-point deficit, to win a region, for the first time in school history.  What the Gamecocks did was make this game a game inside the 3-point arc.  South Carolina only shot 20% from behind the 3-point line, while Florida only shot 26% from downtown.  South Carolina will play Gonzaga, in Glendale, on Saturday.

Hello and welcome to another edition of 'Live Blogging On Shish On College Basketball'. Tonight it is the South Carolina Gamecocks and Baylor Bears. This is an East Regional Semifinal game. South Carolina is the region's 7th seed, while Baylor is the region's 3rd seed. The winner will play the winner of Wisconsin/Florida, on Sunday.

Final Thoughts: The 22-7 stretch to end the first half, was the highlight of the ball game, for the Gamecocks.  South Carolina showcased Sindarius Thornwell and their tenacious defense.  As for Baylor, it was a disappointing game.  You just felt after they took their 3rd timeout in the First Half, that the Gamecocks were in the Bears' head.  

South Carolina advances to the Regional Final for the first time in school history.  They play the winner of Wisconsin/Florida.

Hello and welcome to another edition of 'Live Blogging On Shish On College Basketball'.  Tonight it is a NCAA MBK Tournament game as West Virginia Mountaineers, take on Gonzaga Bulldogs.   This is a West Regional game.  The Mountaineers are a #4 seed, while the Bulldogs; or Zags, are a #1 seed in the West.  

West Virginia comes into this game having defeated Bucknell and Notre Dame.  They are known for their pressing, turnover creating defense.  The Mountaineers are lead by Jevon Carter in scoring and assists, while Nathan Adrian leads in rebounding.

Final Thoughts: West Virginia threw everything, but the kitchen sink.  Gonzaga had more turnovers, got into foul trouble, and was outrebounded on the offensive glass.  But in the end, it was Jordan Mathews sending Gonzaga to the Regional Finals.  Gonzaga will play the winner of Xavier/Arizona.

UC Davis Vs. Kansas
Hello and welcome to another edition of 'Live Blogging On Shish On College Basketball'. Tonight it is a NCAA Tournament matchup as the Aggies of UC Davis, takes on Kansas Jayhawks.

UC Davis is coming off a win in the First Four by defeating N.C. Central, 67-63 on Friday. The Aggies are lead by Brynton Le Mar in scoring, C. Moneke in rebounds, and D. Graham in assists. UC Davis represents the Big West Conference.

Meanwhile Kansas (Big 12 regular season champs) has their share of adversity. They lose Udoka Azubuike to torn ligaments in his left wrist. They also had a couple of legal issues during the season. The Jayhawks would like to get the regular season past them, and win the program's their 4th NCAA Championship and 6th overall. The Jayhawks are lead by Frank Mason III in scoring, and assists, and Landen Lucas in rebounds.

It it is UC Davis Aggies and Kansas Jayhawks, coming up shortly.

Xavier Vs. Maryland (First Round)
Hello and welcome to another edition of Live Blogging On Shish On College Basketball. Tonight on 'Shish On Sports', it is Xavier Musketeers from the Big East Conference, and Maryland Terrapins from the Big Ten Conference. Xavier; from Cincinnati, Ohio, is the #11 seed, while Maryland is the #6 seed in the West Region. The winner will play the winner of Florida St. and Florida Gulf Coast.

Xavier is injury plagued with the loss of Edmund Summer to a torn ACL on Jan. 29th, 2017. The Musketeers were able to make it to NCAA MBK Tournament, as they advanced to the semifinals of Big East Tournament. Xavier lost to Creighton 75-72, in the Big East Semifinals. Xavier is lead in scoring by Trevon Bluiett, RaShid Gaston in rebounds, and Quentin Goodwin in assists.

Maryland has been struggling as of late. Losing to Northwestern in Big Ten Quarterfinals, and after that 2-2 in their last 4 games of the regular season. Terrapins are lead by Melo Trimble in scoring and assists, and Justin Jackson in rebounds.

It is Xavier vs. Maryland in the first round of the NCAA MBK Tournament, coming up shortly.
