Hello and welcome to another edition of ‘Live Blogging on Shish on College Basketball’. Tonight it is a matchup between Missouri Valley and ACC, As Southern Illinois Salukis take on Louisville Cardinals. Both teams come in with a record of 2-0.

The Salukis are hoping to take advantage of a wide open Missouri Valley Conference, which lost perininal favorite Wichita St. to the American Athletic Conference. The Salukis are statistically led by Kavion Pippen in scoring and rebounds. And Sean Lloyd Jr. in assists. 

The Cardinals are trying to recover from the scandal that plagued in the offseason which led to the firing of Head Coach Rick Pitino. Louisville is statistically led by Deng Adel in scoring and assists. And Ray Spalding in rebounding.

Final Thougths:
Louisville had a sluggish start, but their last 30 minutes were dominate.  Louisville got some help from their bench by Jordan Nwora with 18 points, 8 rebounds.  And Darius Perry with 7 assists.

Louisville will go to 3-0, while Southern Illinois falls to 2-1. Louisville will play the Pennsylvania version of St. Francis on Friday, while Southern Illinois will play Murray St. on Saturday.
