Hello, and welcome to another edition of 'Live-Blogging on Shish on College Basketball'. Tonight it is game 1 of the 2019 2K Empire Classic, between Texas Longhorns and Georgetown Hoyas. In this Big-12 Matchup both teams are having good starts to their seasons. However, the Longhorns have an uproad ahead of them, when they go into their conference part of the season to play Kansas and Texas Tech as the favorites. The Hoyas are hoping to make some noise in the Big East and hope to knock off Villanova in the tournament.

The Longhorns are led by guard Matt Coleman in scoring and assists. While Jericho Sims leads Texas in rebounding.

Final Thoughts:
Well the Wolverines defeated the Longhorns in Austin. This was a low scoring affair. 4 of the 5 Wolverine Starters scored in double figures. Abdur Rahkman had a double-double for the Maize and Blue. As for the Longhorns they did not have their best night off the glass. They were out-rebounded by Michigan 40-31. Michigan was able to control the offensive glass as they got 10 offensive boards to the Longhorns' 6 rebounds.  

Wolverines will face Detroit at Little Ceasers Arena on Saturday. The Longhorns will face Louisiana Tech on Saturday.
