Shish’s Final 2022 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament Projections

I disagree on Baylor being a #1 seed over Kentucky, Tennessee, and Villanova. I did not have Rutgers, Michigan, or Notre Dame. I had BYU, Colorado, and Texas A&M in my tournament.

I thought the loss to Oklahoma in the Big 12 Tournament; along with the injuries, keep Baylor from getting the 1 seed.

Villanova is #1 in the East Region, because of winning the Big East Tournament and defeating Tennessee earlier in the season.

Notre Dame is the biggest one I have an issue over BYU. Irish lost to Wake Forest. Those Demon Deacons lost to Boston College in the ACC Tournament.

BYU knocked off Oregon, San Diego State, and Texas Southern. They had losses by Utah Valley, Creighton, and Vanderbilt. But I don’t see those losses would keep them and put Notre Dame is in the Tournament.

#1 seeds are: Baylor, Arizona, Gonzaga, and Auburn

I did like the victories Memphis and Boise State had, so far this season. That’s why they are apart of the Last Four In.

Alabama Crimson Tide Notes

Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on College Basketball’. Tonight, it is the 2021 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament game, between Maryland Terrapins and Alabama Crimson Tide.
Terrapins is looking they could be the last Big Ten team standing. They hope to get some scoring from
Eric Ayala and Darryl Morsell.

For the Crimson Tide, they are hoping to win a National Championship to be a school won a national championship for football and basketball in the same year.

Terrapins are led by Eric Ayala in scoring. Donta Scott leads Maryland in rebounding. And Darryl
Morsell leads the College Park in assists.

As for Crimson Tide, they are led by Jaden Shackelford in scoring. While Herbert Jones leads Alabama in rebounding and assists.

Yeah, I have Ohio State as a #1 seed as well. It helps to beat Illinois a month ago, as part of your tournament resume.

North Carolina’s win in Durham moved them from the Last Four In to Last Four Bye.

There are three games in the coming weeks that come to mind, that are bubble busters. They are:

02/17/2021: VCU at Richmond
02/25/2021: Oregon at Stanford
03/01/2021: North Carolina at Syracuse

Those three games could have determine who could get in as an at-large bid.
