Hello and welcome to another edition of ‘Live Blogging on Shish on College Basketball’. Tonight it is 2019 NCAA MBK East Regional Semifinals between LSU Tigers and Michigan State Spartans.

The Tigers are having a great year, however they are without their head coach, Will Wade due to his indefinite suspension. But they have managed to get a couple of wins in this tournament.

For the Spartans, they had an easy stretch in the first weekend of the tournament. As they defeated Bradley and Minnesota handlely.

Tigers is led by Tremont Waters in scoring and assists. And Naz Reid leads the Bayou Bengals in rebounding. For their team stats, they average 80.9 PPG, while allowing 70.5 PPG. They rebound the ball at 38.9 RPG. And they distribute the ball at 13.1 APG.

As for Sparty, they are led by Cassius Winston in scoring and assists. And Michigan State is led by Kenny Goins in rebounding. Their team stats include, a scoring average of 78.9 PPG, while allowing 57.5 PPG. They rebound the ball at 41 RPG. And they distribute the ball at 18.7 APG.

The Tigers are hoping that they can prove that they are for real and try and knock off Kentucky for SEC Supremacy. While the Musketeers hoping to show that they can be a legitimate contender in the NCAA Tournament.

South Carolina Vs. Florida (East Regional Final)
Hello and welcome to another edition of 'Live Blogging On Shish On College Basketball'.  This afternoon, it is a NCAA MBK Tournament East Regional Final, between South Carolina Gamecocks and Florida Gators.   South Carolina is a #7 seed in the East, while Florida is the East's #4 seed.  

This is the third meeting of the year between these two programs.   Both teams split the last two meetings, on their home court.  The winner of this game, guarantees the SEC will get a bid into the Final Four.  The winner of this game will play Gonzaga on Saturday.  

South Carolina comes into today's game, having defeated Marquette, Duke and Baylor.   The Gamecocks are lead by Sindarius Thornwell in scoring, rebounding, and share of assists lead with P.J. Dozier.

South Carolina Vs. Baylor (East Regional Semifinal)
Hello and welcome to another edition of 'Live Blogging On Shish On College Basketball'. Tonight it is the South Carolina Gamecocks and Baylor Bears. This is an East Regional Semifinal game. South Carolina is the region's 7th seed, while Baylor is the region's 3rd seed. The winner will play the winner of Wisconsin/Florida, on Sunday.

South Carolina comes in with victories over Marquette and Duke. This is the Gamecocks first visit to the Regional Semifinals. South Carolina is lead by Sindarius Thornwell in scoring and rebounding, while P.J. Dozier and Thornwell leads the Gamecocks in assists.

​Baylor is coming off wins against New Mexico St. and Southern Cal. The Bears are happy they get to be highest seed remaining in the East Region. They are also happy that they do not have to play Duke. The Bears are lead by Johnathon Motley in scoring and rebounds, while Manu Lecomte leads in assists.

Final Thoughts: The 22-7 stretch to end the first half, was the highlight of the ball game, for the Gamecocks.  South Carolina showcased Sindarius Thornwell and their tenacious defense.  As for Baylor, it was a disappointing game.  You just felt after they took their 3rd timeout in the First Half, that the Gamecocks were in the Bears' head.  

South Carolina advances to the Regional Final for the first time in school history.  They play the winner of Wisconsin/Florida.
