​Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on College Basketball’. Tonight, it is a Big Ten Opener, as Michigan State Spartans take on Northwestern Wildcats.
Both teams had stellar non-conference victories. But Spartans are considered as one of the favorites.
 
As for the Wildcats, they would like to visit the NCAA Tournament, for the 2nd time in school history. The only other visit to the Madness, was with their current head coach Chris Collins.
 
Spartans are led by former Marquette Forward Joey Hauser in scoring and rebounding. While Aaron Henry leads Michigan State in rebounding.
 
For the Wildcats, they are led by Miller Kopp in scoring. Pete Nance leads Northwestern in rebounding. And Boo Buie is the Evanston School’s leader in assists.

Hello and welcome to another edition of ‘Live Blogging on Shish on College Basketball’. Tonight it is Round 2 of Big Ten action as the Northwestern Wildcats take on Penn St. Nittany Lions. The Wildcats are coming in with a record of 15-16 overall, 6-12 in Big Ten Play and a RPI of 155. While the Nittany Lions come in with are record of 19-12 overall, a Big Ten record of 9-9, and a RPI of 83.

Both teams need to win the Big Ten Tournament, in order to make it to the NCAA MBK Tournament. But it is little disappointing for the Wildcats, as they are coming off their first NCAA MBK Tournament Appearance in school history. Injuries and playing home games at Allstate Arena took tow on Northwestern.

Well Stevens and Watkins were dominate the Wildcats tonight. It looked like Penn St. wasn't afraid of scoring in the paint.  As for the Wildcats, they wanted to live on the 3-point shooting, but was unable to draw the fouls. Penn St. was 14-22, while Northwestern only shot 5 free throws, and made all five FT.

The Wildcats will play at home to play Minnesota on Wednesday. While Penn St. will be in Bloomington, to play the Hoosiers on Tuesday.

Hello and welcome to another edition of ‘Live Blogging on Shish on College Basketball’. Tonight it is the Northwestern Wildcats taking on the Oklahoma Sooners. This is battle between the Big Ten and Big 12. The Wildcats are coming in with a record of 9-4, while the Sooners are coming in with a record of 9-1. The Wildcats are coming in winners of their last 4 games, while the Sooners are winnners of their last 7 games.

The Wildcats are hoping to make it back to the NCAA Tournament. But they are going to need to come to Norman and defeat the Sooners, along with playing well in conference play.

As for the Sooners, they are hoping to bounce back from a rebuilding year last year. They are a year removed from making it to the Final Four, when they were led by Buddy Hield.

Statistically the Wildcats are averaging 74.8 PPG, while allowing 63.5 PPG. They are rebounding 33.7 RPG, and average 15.2 APG.

Meanwhile the Sooners, are averaging 94.2 PPG, allowing 79.2 PPG. They are rebounding 40.8 RPG, and averaging 18.8 APG.
