​Well, the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament Brackets are out, earlier This Evening. So, the NCAA Tournament Committee went with Clemson, Virginia Tech, and Wichita State. I picked Memphis, Seton Hall, and Colorado State in the tournament.
For Memphis and Wichita State I was not wrong about American Athletic Conference getting an at-large bid. I went with the team who had success in the American Athletic Tournament, while the Committee went with the Shockers of Wichita State who won the regular season championship.
 
Now the ACC teams, I do not have a problem with Virginia Tech over Seton Hall. The Pirates dropped their last four regular season games and lost to Georgetown in the Big East Tournament. Virginia Tech defeated Villanova near the start of the regular season.
 
The ACC Team I have the problem with who is in the tournament is Clemson. They lost to Miami (FL) in the ACC Tournament and lost to Pittsburgh Panthers, in the regular season. As for Colorado State their worst loss came at the end of the regular season to Nevada. But Nevada’s NET Ranking is 96, compared to Pitt’s NET of 100 and Hurricanes’ NET of 149.
 
For some other teams, the Ramblers of Loyola-Chicago is underseeded as well as Colgate.
 
No Surprise for the #1 seeds. Gonzaga is the #1 overall seed. Baylor is #2. Illini is #3, because they lost to Baylor. But the Illini is playing better coming into this tournament than the Bears. And I think the Wolverines look like the most vulnerable of the four #1 seeds, now that they are without Isaiah Livers for who knows when.

Tigers are coming off a loss to Wake Forest, while the Cavs are on a 2-game winning streak. Tigers need to make a run in the next month-plus, if they want to make it the NCAA Tournament. The Cavaliers are a bubble team and cannot afford to lose to teams like Clemson at home.
 
Tigers are led by Aamir Simms in scoring and rebounding. While Al-Amir Dawes leads Clemson in assists.

As for the Cavaliers, they are led by Mamadi Diakite in scoring. Braxton Key leads Virginia in rebounding. And Kihei Clark leads the team in assists.
 
Their team stats include rebounding the ball at 35.5 RPG. They distribute the ball at 11.2 APG. Defensively, they block 4.3 shots a game and take the ball away 5.7 SPG.

Clemson comes in with a record of 16-4, 5-3 in ACC play, and a RPI of 6. The Yellow Jackets come in with a record of 10-10, 3-4 in ACC, and a RPI of 140. 

The Tigers are coming off a blowout loss to Virginia on Tuesday. With a strong RPI, they just need to have a good confernce record, and the Tigers will go to NCAA Tournament.

Well Georgia Tech came out guns a blazing, but Clemson weathered the storm and leave Atlanta with a victory. Marcquise Reed lead the Tigers with a double-double 13 points, 11 assists. Gabe DeVoe kept the Tigers in the game with his hot shooting. He led all the Tigers in scoring with 25 points. 

The Tigers next game will be at home to face North Carolina. Georgia Tech will play Syracuse at home on Wednesday.
