Hello, and welcome to another edition of 'Live-Blogging Shish on Professional Ice Hockey'. Tonight, it is an American Hockey League game, between Texas Stars (Dallas Stars AHL Affiliate) and Iowa Stars (Minnesota Wild affiliate). 

So, here is the playoff picture in the Central Division. A finish in regulation between these two teams and Rockford IceHogs are in the Calder Cup Playoffs. The winner of this game in regulation. and their magic number will go down to 6. Winner of this game in overtime and shootout and the victor's Magic Number will go down to 4. 

Stars are led by Anthony Louis in points and scoring. While Joel L'Esperance leads Texas in assists. 

For the Wild, they are led by Marco Rossi in points scoring. While Kyle Rau and Mitchell Chaffee in goal scoring.

Stars were better at making shots on goal, converting power plays, and Matthew Murray was better than Zane McIntyre tonight. Stars got their goals from Tanner Kero (PPG) and Alex Petrovic (GWG). And now the Stars are 2 points away from clinching a spot in the Calder Cup Playoffs.

For the Wild, it was a disappointing home series. They got swept by Texas and now need to win their next two games and the Stars to lose their final game to get a spot in the Calder Cup Playoffs.

Stars will head to Winnipeg, to face the Manitoba Moose in Tuesday. While Iowa will head to Rockford to face the IceHogs, Tomorrow Night.
