Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on Professional Ice Hockey’. Tonight, it is an American Hockey League Central Division game, between Texas Stars (Dallas Stars Affiliate) at Chicago Wolves (Carolina Hurricanes Affiliate).

Stars (18-19-5-4, 45 points, .489 PPCT) are struggling this year. They are in last place in the Central Division. However, they are within striking distance for 4th Place. A win tonight would help their chances.

For the Wolves (30-10-4-4, 68 points, .708 PPCT), they are looking to win the Central Division and the Kilpatrick Trophy (Best Record in AHL). They have the points, but they don’t have the points percentage won just yet. That belongs to Stockton Heat.

Stars had a 1st Period 2-1 lead. But Wolves get goals by CJ Smith and Ryan Suzuki, to get the lead. And they get a couple more goals to get the win. 

Texas will head to Milwaukee, to face the Admirals on Friday. Before returning back to Allstate Arena, to face the Chicago Wolves on Saturday.
