Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on Professional Ice Hockey’. This Afternoon, it is an American Hockey League game, between The Providence Bruins (Boston Bruins AHL Affiliate) and The Charlotte Checkers (Florida Panthers Affiliate).
 
The Bruins (38-14-8-2, 86 points) is on a roll. They have clinched a spot in the Calder Cup Playoffs. They have won 6 straight games. And of those 6 victories they defeated the Checkers, Last Night. They are looking to sweep Charlotte, This Afternoon.
 
For the Checkers (35-21-3-3, 76 points) They are still fighting for a playoff spot. They are currently in 3rd Place in the Atlantic Division. And they are looking to keep having at least home-ice advantage in the Calder Cup Playoffs.
 
The Bruins is led by Georgii Merkulov in scoring. While the Checkers leading scorer is Riley Nash.

Bruins outlast Checkers in a penalty-ladened game. 19 penalties in this game. But the Bruins were able to cash in on their power plays. They were 2 of 7 on the man advantage.

For the Checkers, they were unable to keep themselves out of the Penalty Box.

Providence will head to Pennsylvania, to face the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. While the Checkers will host the Springfield Thunderbirds. Both games will be played on Wednesday Night.
