​​Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on Professional Ice Hockey’. This Afternoon, it is an American Hockey League game, between the Milwaukee Admirals (Nashville Predators AHL Affiliate) and the Grand Rapids Griffins (Detroit Red Wings Affiliate).
 
Admirals (36-10-1-0, 73 points) have become the story in the AHL. They have won 19 straight games. Their lost loss came from the Rockford IceHogs, back on New Year’s Eve. And Milwaukee hasn’t lost since. In fact, they haven’t lost in 2024. They will go for 20 straight games, with a win against the Griffins.
 
For the Griffins (24-15-5-3, 56 points), they’ve won 3 straight games. But they are in a fight for 2nd place with Texas Stars and Rockford IceHogs. A win against the Admirals would give Grand Rapids some momentum going into the last month-and-half of the regular season.

Final Thoughts:
Griffins went up 4-0, in the 2nd Period. But then the Admirals scored 2 goals in 15 seconds. However, the Griffins killed 5 consecutive penalties, to get the victory.

For the Admirals, it was a good run. Their 19-game winning streak is snapped. 

Milwaukee will host the Rockford IceHogs on Friday Night. While the Griffins will host the Iowa Wild on Wednesday Night.
