Blue Demons just started their season with a win over Western Illinois on Wednesday. They’ve been waiting almost a month to start the season. But with so many other schools, they had problems with COVID-19. However, today they open the Big East portion of the schedule, as they face Providence Friars.
 
Friars have played two game in the Big East. They have split the first two games of their conference portion of the schedule.
 
Blue Demons are led by Charlie Moore in scoring. And Javon Freeman-Liberty leads DePaul in rebounding and assists.
 
Meanwhile Nate Watson leads the Friars in scoring and rebounding. While Jared Bynum leads Providence in assists.

Final Thoughts:
Double Overtime, but in the end Friars pulled away to win their Big East Home Opener. Friars won this game, by getting to the line and winning on the glass. As for the Blue Demons, they are happy that they are playing, they were just short in this afternoon's game. 

Blue Demons will head to Storrs, to face UConn on Wednesday. While the Friars will host Butler, also on Wednesday.
