Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on College Basketball’ on ‘Shish on College Sports Page. Tonight, it is a Missouri Valley Conference (MVC)/ Southeastern Conference (SEC) game, between Loyola-Chicago Ramblers and Vanderbilt Commodores.
Ramblers are riding high from the 4-game winning streak. However, they had a 2-game losing streak before that from Michigan State and Auburn. So, they would like to defeat Vanderbilt to claim they beat a Power 5 Conference University. Meanwhile, Vanderbilt has dropped 2 straight games. They would like to get some momentum going into conference play. Ramblers are led by Lucas Williamson in scoring. Tate Hall leads Loyola in rebounding. And Braden Norris leads the Chicago Catholic University in assists. For the Commodores, they are led by Scotty Pippen, Junior in scoring and assists. And Jordan Wright leads Vanderbilt in assists. As for the two stats, Loyola averages 35.3 RPG. They distribute the ball at 17.6 APG. Defensively, they block 2.3 shots a game and stole the ball 2.3 a game. Commodores average 38.5 rebounds per game. They distribute the ball 11.6 a game. Defensively, they block 3.3 a game and stole 7.4 a game.
