And so this game ends the college career for Braden Smith, who is the career leader in assists. 

With the win, Arizona advances to National Semifinals for the 5th time in program history. Wildcats await the winner of Michigan/Tennessee on Saturday Evening.

Final Thoughts:
The Aztecs pulled away in the final 30:03 of the game. That is when SDSU went on 72-55 run in that stretch. 

For the Aggies, they had troubles defending the Aztecs. They allowed San Diego State to 54.5% from the field and 46.7% from behind the 3-point arc. Utah State couldn't dominate on the glass. As the Aztecs outrebounded Utah State, 36-27.

This win was more impressive for Michigan, then their blowout wins in their non-conference portion of the schedule. The Wolverines had a 16-point lead at Halftime. But Michigan State outscored Michigan 33-15 to start the 2nd Half, to give Spartans the lead. But Michigan ended the game with a 26-12 run.  

Michigan was able to pull away with the win, thanks to stellar performances by Elliot Cadeau (17 points, 6 assists) and Yaxel Lendeborg (26 points, 12 rebounds). 

For the Spartans, they had a good scoring game by Jeremy Fears, Junior. That was 43.7% of the Spartans scoring.

Michigan will head back to Ann Arbor, to host Penn State on Thursday Evening. While Michigan State will head to Twin Cities, to face Minnesota on Wednesday Night.

The Rainbow Warriors have an opportunity to gain ground in the Mountain West Standings. Depending on the outcome of the Wyoming/SDSU game (SDSU defeated Wyoming), The Warriors have a chance to be tied with the Aztecs and Boise State for the Mountain West lead, going into the showdown with San Diego State. For that to occur, the Rainbow Warriors need to not look past the Spartans, tonight.
 
For the Spartans, they are on a 2-game losing streak. A win could right the ship going into their game against Air Force.

With the result, Hawai'i is now tied with New Mexico and Fresno State for 3rd Place.

Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on College Football’. Tonight, it is an American Conference Football game, between the Charlotte 49ers (1-3) and the South Florida Bulls (3-1).
 
The 49ers are not having a good start. They lost to App. State, North Carolina, and Rice. Now they are on 8-day rest opening up their American Conference slate of games at South Florida.
 
For the Bulls, they went 3-1 last month. They had victories against Boise State and Florida. Although they lost against the Hurricanes in Hard Rock, The Bulls are looking to not only win the American Conference, but as the Group of 5 representative in the 2025-26 College Football Playoff.
 
The 49ers are led by Junior Quarterback Conner Harrell in passing. Charlotte is led by Freshman Rod Gaines, Junior in rushing. And The North Carolina-Based University is led by EJ Mason in receiving.
 
As for the Bulls, they are led by Byrum Brown in passing. South Florida is led by Alvon Isaac in rushing. And the Tampa-Based University is led in receiving by Chas Nimrod.

Hello, and welcome to a special edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on College Sports’. Tonight, it is a match in the American Volleyball Coaches’ Association’s First Serve. Between the Stanford Cardinal and the Florida Gators.
 
The Cardinal had a good season, last year. They were 28-5 in the regular season. Which was good for 2nd in their inaugural ACC season. However, they got to the regional finals. Now they are hoping to make a national semifinal run in women’s volleyball.
 
For the Gators, they have a new era in Gainesville. Their legendary head coach Mary Wise retired this offseason. So, now they turn their women’s volleyball program to Ryan Theis. Theis was a former assistant coach under Wise. After that he became the head coach for Marquette. Now he returns to Gainesville, in hopes of getting Florida to an elite level.
