​Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on College Basketball’. Tonight, it is a Big East Battle between Butler Bulldogs against Cincinnati’s Xavier Musketeers.
Bulldogs are struggling and if they want to play an NCAA Tournament in their home digs of Hinkle Fieldhouse, they will have to win the Big East Tournament.
 
For the Musketeers, they are looking like a bubble team. They need to win this home game, if they would like to be an at-large teams.
 
Butler are led by Chuck Harris in scoring. While Bryce Nze leads the Bulldogs in rebounding. And the Indianapolis School’s leading assist man is Myles Tate.
 
Musketeers are led by Zach Freemantle in scoring and rebounding. And Paul Scruggs leads Xavier in assists.

Blue Demons are struggling during this COVID-19 shortened season and they are looking for answers to get out of the cellar in the Big East. But first they need to snap a 4-game losing streak. They would like to play spoiler to Seton Hall, who is currently one of the last four teams in my NCAA Tournament Bracket Projections.
 
As for the Pirates, more of a struggle this year but they are in a 3-game winning streak. They cannot afford to lose to DePaul if they want to play March Basketball at Indiana.
 
Blue Demons are led by Charlie Moore in scoring and assists. While Pauly Paulicap leads DePaul in rebounding.
 
For the Pirates, they are led by Sandro Mamukelashvili in scoring and rebounding. While Shavar Reynolds leads Seton Hall in assists.

Wildcats defeated Seton Hall on Saturday, after postponing 7 out of 9 games before that game with the Pirates. They would like to pad their lead in the Big East, as they are currently in first place in front of Creighton by 3 in the loss column and only have played 6 conference games.
 
For the Johnnies, they had a decent non-conference schedule. But they are average in conference play. They are currently 6th place and would be playing in the first round in the Big East Tournament.
 
Wildcats are led by Conor Gillespie in scoring and assists. While Jermaine Samuels leads Villanova in rebounding.
 
As for the Red Storm, they are led by Julian Champagnie in scoring and rebounding. While Posh Alexander leads the Queens School in assists.
