Flames are trying to continue their success from last year. This year, they are off to a 3-0 start. They are hoping to go undefeated and hope Notre Dame lose, so that they can have a chance for a New Year’s Six Bowl game. As for the Orange, they would like to get back to having winning seasons. A win tonight will help, but it would also help that they can win their Atlantic Division away from Clemson. It is Liberty Flames and Syracuse Orange, coming up shortly.

Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on College Basketball’. Tonight, it is the 2021 NCAA Men’s Basketball West Regional Final between USC Trojans and Gonzaga Bulldogs.
This is a Pac-12/West Coast Conference Showdown. Over the recent years Gonzaga Bulldogs have outshined Bill Walton’s ‘Conference of Champions’, when it comes to Men’s Basketball. The Zags are looking to be the first team since Bobby Knight’s 1976 Indiana Hoosiers to have a perfect season. For the ‘Men of Troy’, they are not as successful of a Men’s Basketball Program, then their crosstown rival UCLA Bruins. But this year, they are hoping that the Mobley Brothers will lead them to their first Final Four since 1954. As mentioned, Evan Mobley leads Southern California in scoring and rebounding. While Tahj Eaddy leads Trojans in assists. For the Bulldogs, they are led by Corey Kispert in scoring. Drew Timme leads Gonzaga in rebounding. Demon Deacons are not playing well. They need to score more than 65 points, in order to have a chance to win. For Notre Dame, they are struggling to win. Although, they pulled an upset over Florida State, this past Saturday. What’s at stake for the victor of this game, is that they get to play North Carolina Tar Heels Tomorrow Night. Wildcats defeated Seton Hall on Saturday, after postponing 7 out of 9 games before that game with the Pirates. They would like to pad their lead in the Big East, as they are currently in first place in front of Creighton by 3 in the loss column and only have played 6 conference games. For the Johnnies, they had a decent non-conference schedule. But they are average in conference play. They are currently 6th place and would be playing in the first round in the Big East Tournament. Bluejays are coming off a 2-game winning streak. And they are trying to stay with Villanova for the Big East Regular Season Title. For the Blue Demons, it has been a struggle on and off the court, as they did not start their regular season until December 23rd. And they are off to a bad start at 3-6 and 1-5 in Big East. They would like to get another win in the Big East. Bluejays are led by Denzel Mahoney in scoring. While Damien Jefferson and Christian Bishop co-lead Creighton in rebounding. Both teams did not play in their conference tournament, due to COVID-19 Pandemic. Sun Devils are known for being good in November under their head coach Bobby Hurley. The Rams were good team in the Atlantic 10 Tournament. If they were able to finish the season, the Rhodys probably needed to at least play Dayton in their conference tournament, to make the NCAA Tournament. The winner of tonight’s game will face the winner of Villanova/Boston College. While the loser will face the loser of that game. Both games are Tomorrow Night.
