Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on Professional Ice Hockey’. Tonight, it is an American Hockey League game, between San José Barracuda (San José Sharks AHL Affiliate) and Coachella Valley Firebirds (Seattle Kraken Affiliate).

Barracuda (16-22-8-0, 40 points) is coming off a victory over the San Diego Gulls. They open the 2nd Half at 2-1. A win against The Firebirds will continue a good start to the 2nd Half for San José.

For the Firebirds (27-12-4-2, 60 points), they are coming off to a 4-0 shutout of Henderson. A win will get them off to a good start on their 3-game homestand.

Barracuda is led by Danil Gushchin in scoring.

As for the Firebirds, they are led by Max McCormick in goals and Kole Lind in assists and points.

It is the San José Barracuda and the Coachella Valley Firebirds, coming up shortly.

Final Thoughts:
This was a competitive game until the 3rd Period. First, Max McCormick scored a goal 1:25 into the 3rd Period. And Ryan Winterton & Marian Studenic scored short-handed-empty-net goals, to put the game away. 

For the Barracuda, they had a rough game Tonight. 

San Jose will head to Bakersfield, to face the Condors. While the Firebirds will host the Colorado Eagles. Both games will be played on Saturday Night.
