Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on Professional Ice Hockey’. Tonight, it is the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins (Pittsburgh Penguins AHL Affiliate) and the Cleveland Monsters (Columbus Blue Jackers Affiliate).
Penguins (30-20-8-1, 69 points) dropped the first game of the 2-game series with the Monsters (35-18-3-3, 76 points) in overtime. A win will split the short series and will keep the Pittsburgh Penguins AHL Affiliate in 3rd Place in the Atlantic Division.

For the Monsters, a win Tonight is crucial. As they will be 4 points ahead of the Syracuse Crunch with one fewer game to play.

It is the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins and the Cleveland Monsters, coming up shortly.

Final Thoughts:
Penguins had control of this game. They outshot the Monsters 40-27. And they 6 penatlties to Cleveland's 10 penalties.

Radim Zohorna gets a hat trick. And that was the difference in this game.

With the victory, WBS remain in 3rd Place in the Atlantic Division by 3 points, over the Checkers. While the Monsters are still 2 points ahead of the Syracuse Crunch for the North Division lead., However, Syracuse has a game on hand.

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton will head to Syracuse, to face the Crunch. While the Monsters host the Hershey Bears. Both games will be played on Friday Night.
