Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on Professional Ice Hockey’. Tonight, it is an American Hockey League game, between the Tucson Roadrunners (Arizona Coyotes AHL Affiliate) and the Bakersfield Condors (Edmonton Oilers Affiliate).

Roadrunners (37-22-3-2, 79 points) have clinched a spot in the 2024 Calder Cup Playoffs. They are 10 points behind the Coachella Valley Phantoms and are in a dog fight for the 2nd-4th Place positions in the Pacific Division. They are coming off a split against the San Diego Gulls. And they need a win to stay in pace with Ontario and Colorado for the 2nd-4th Place positions.

For the Condors (35-25-2-2, 74 points), they need to earn a point in Tonight’s game vs. Tucson or a San Diego Gulls loss vs. San Jose, to clinch a spot in the 2024 Calder Cup Playoffs.

It is the Tucson Roadrunners and the Bakersfield Condors, coming up shortly.

Final Thoughts:
Condors had the game from start to finish. They scored 4 goals off 34 SOG. While Olivier Rodrigue stopped 40 out of 41 SOG. 

For the Roadrunners, they had opportunities, but couldn't cash them in against Olivier Rodrigue.

With the victory, Bakersfield clinches a spot in the 2024 Calder Cup Playoff spot. We know the 7 teams in the Pacific Division. But the only that hasn't been decided is the seeding. 

Tucson will head to San Diego, to face the Gulls for 2 games beginning on Saturday Night. While Bakersfield will host a 2-game set against Dustin Wolf and the Calgary Wranglers. That series begins on Friday Night.
