Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on Professional
Ice Hockey’. Tonight, it is an American Hockey League game, between Manitoba Moose (Winnipeg Jets Affiliate) and Rockford IceHogs (Chicago Blackhawks).

Moose (33-17-3-2, 71 points, .645 points percentage) are playing well, this season. They are trying to chase Chicago Wolves. However, time is running out. They are showing signs of making it to the Calder Cup.

As for the IceHogs (26-23-3-1, 56 points, .528 PPCT) they are in a fight with Grand Rapids, Texas, and Iowa for a playoff spot. And the Blackhawks are looking at them, to see what to rebuild for next season in the National Hockey League.

Manitoba is led by Cole Meier in points. While Jeff Malott leads the Moose in goal scoring.

As for the IceHogs, they are led by Lukas Reichel in scoring.

Moose have a goal differential of +19. They convert 19.17% of their power plays into goals. And they kill 81.82% of their penalties.

Rockford has a goal differential of -18. They convert 18.99% of their power plays. And they kill 83.06% of their penalties.

Moose outshot IceHogs 40-16. However, Arvid Holm wasn't able to beat Brett Connolly and company in the 16 save opportunities that he had. 

With the win, IceHogs remain in 4th place. While Moose are still in 2nd Place. And the Wolves Magic Number to win the AHL Central is 25 points.

Manitoba will head to Chicago, to face the Wolves on Friday. While Rockford will head to Des Moines, to face Iowa Wild on Friday.
