Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on Professional Ice Hockey’. Tonight, it is an American Hockey League game, between the Lehigh Valley Phantoms (Philadelphia Flyers AHL Affiliate) and the Rochester Americans (Buffalo Sabres Affiliate).

Phantoms (16-13-5-1, 38 points) are on a 2-game winning streak. However, they are 3 points behind Springfield for the final playoff spot in the Atlantic Division of the Calder Cup Finals.

For the Americans (16-13-3-1, 36 points) they split with the Checkers in Charlotte. And they are in a 4-way race with Laval, Toronto, and Utica for the final two playoff spots in the North Division portion of the Calder Cuo Finals.

It is the Lehigh Valley Phantoms and the Rochester Americans, coming up shortly.

Final Thoughts:
Brandon Biro started the scoring. And that was all Eric Comrie and the Amerks needed. Phantoms outshot Amerks 32-20. But Comrie was a wall and Sandstrom was not. 

Phantoms will head to Cleveland to face the Monsters for a 2-game set, beginning on Friday Night. While Rochester will head to Utica, to face the Comets on Friday Night.
