Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on Professional Ice Hockey’. Tonight, it is an American Hockey League, between Iowa Wild (Minnesota Wild AHL Affiliate) and Colorado Eagles (Colorado Avalanche).
 
Wild (6-4-2-2, 16 points) have won 3 out of 5 games, between Chicago Wolves and Milwaukee Admirals. They are 5th in the Central Division. They are playing on a 4-game Pacific Division Trip, where they play 2 against Colorado Eagles and San Jose Barracuda.
 
For the Eagles (10-5-1-0, 21 points), they are leading the Pacific Division. They are trying to do what their NHL Parent Franchise did last year, by winning their league’s Championship Cup. While the Avalanche won the Stanley Cup, the Eagles are looking to capture the Calder Cup. But it will be tough in the Pacific Division, as there are 10 teams in that division.
 
Iowa is led by Sammy Walker in scoring. While the Eagles are led by Brad Hunt in points and Charles Hudon in goal scoring.

Final Thoughts:
Eagles dominated an emotional game for both teams. Justus Annunen stood on his head in Colorado's Net. He saved 34 out of 35 shots. Colorado also could be down Mikhail Maltsev with a lower body injury.

For the Wild, they got dominated from the 2nd Period onto the rest of the game. 

Both teams will play again in Loveland, Tomorrow Afternoon.
