Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on Professional Ice Hockey’. Tonight, it is an American Hockey League game, between the Calgary Wranglers (Calgary Flames AHL Affiliate) & Coachella Valley Firebirds (Seattle Kraken Affiliate).
 
This game is for the Pacific Division lead. Wranglers come in with a record of 36-14-3-0 with 75 points. While the Firebirds come in with a record of 34-9-4-2, 74 points. One point separates these two teams. However, the Firebirds have 4 games on hand. The Pacific Division lead is important because the Champion of that division will get a first-round bye in the Calder Cup Playoffs.

Final Thoughts:
Coachella Valley got off with some scoring chances. But the Wranglers were able to score the goals, when it mattered. Calgary showed that they were the experienced team in this showdown for the Pacific Division. 

With the win, Wranglers move 3 points ahead of Coachella Valley, for the Pacific Division lead. 

Calgary will head to Colorado, to face the Eagles. While Coachella Valley to face Bakersfield Condors. Both matchups begin on Friday.
