Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on Professional Ice Hockey’. Tonight, it is an American Hockey League game, between the Abbotsford Cancuks (Vancouver Canucks AHL Affiliate) and the Cleveland Monsters (Seattle Kraken Affiliate).
 
These two teams will be playing 2 games in Palm Desert. Canucks (17-9-2-1, 37 points) are coming off a shootout loss against the Condors in Bakersfield, This Past Wednesday. They are hoping to get a sweep, to end their California stretch on a high note.
 
For the Firebirds (17-10-2-0, 36 points), they started off the New Year in Calgary, where they took both games against the Wranglers. They are hoping to extend their winning streak against the Western Canadian Teams.
 
It is the Abbotsford Canucks and the Coachella Valley Firebirds, coming up shortly.
