​Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on Horse Racing’. This Afternoon, it is the 2023 Rainbow Futurity.
 
Last Month, Let’s Leave ended up winning the 2023 Ruidoso Futurity. However, he skipped the trials for the Rainbow Futurity and will not participate.
 
So now the favorite of the Middle Leg of the Quarter Horse Triple Crown belongs to #7 Dark NME (5-2 Morning Line). She had the fastest time on Day 1 of the Trials, back on July 30th. Now the 2-year-old filly will be looking to take the $1 Million 400-yard sprint This Afternoon.
 
She will have to ward off the likes of Wired 440 and Scream Machine to capture this race.
 
Also in this blog post, it is the consolation race for participating in the Rainbow Futurity Trails, 2023 Rainbow Quarter Horse Juvenile Stakes. #3 Dezingner Jeanz is the favorite at 5-2. She will have to fend off #5 Heavenly Snow Eagle (7-2) and #1 BP Down for a Corona (10-1).

​Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on Horse Racing’. This Afternoon, it is Hawthorne Racecourse’s Early Pick 5 featuring the 2023 Hawthorne Derby.
 
The race will feature #1 Really Good. He is a 3-year-old colt with Chris Ernigh being his jockey. Michael Maker is the trainer. And Paradise Farms Corp as the owner. Really Good was spawned by Hard Spun and Means Well. Means Well’s Sire is Smart Strike.
 
He has raced at Kentucky’s finest racecourses. He raced in Keeneland and Churchhill Downs. His last four races have been on turf. If the race becomes a dirt race, we’ll see if he’ll race in Today’s $100K 2023 Hawthorne Derby.

​Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on Horse Racing’. Tonight, it is Los Alamitos Racecourse’s 2023 Ed Burke $1 Million Futurity.
 
This race will feature an unbeaten. #8 Political Rivalry has been the fastest horse for each race he participated in during his career. He will look to keep #3 Heza Good Reason (6-1) & #1 Kevins Wise Corona (3-1) from winning the near $1 Million Prize.
 
That Futurity is not the only stakes race, in this Late Pick 6. Los Alamitos will have 2 mixed-bred stakes races. The first one is a race between Fillies & Mares in the 1000 Yard Fillies & Mares Summer Stakes. That race is the 4th race of Tonight’s Card and the 1st Leg of the Late Pick 6. In Race 6, geldings will participate in the 1000 Yard Summer Championship Stakes.

Quarter Horse World is looking at Trusty Jess who is the favorite of the first leg of the Quarter Horse Triple Crown at Ruidoso Downs. His morning line is 2-1. He will be challenged by #9 Caramel Macchiato (9-2), #8 AR Victorias Legacy (6-1), and #4 Wired 440 (15-1).
 
Also in this post is the consolation race for running the Ruidoso Futurity Trials, the 2023 Ruidoso QH Juvenile Stakes. That race is favored by #1 Jones Hero (5-2). A sentimental pick for 80’s American Action Fans is #2 Yippee Ki Yey (15-1).

The featured race is a battle involving fillies and mares, between 3-year-olds and upward. These horses are Illinois bred and raised. It has a $75K purse. And it is the first of two stakes to be held for the Thoroughbred Spring/Summer Meet in Cicero/Stickney’s Racecourse.

Three years ago, Remington Park was one of the few race tracks that was producing races during the COVID-19 Lockdowns. This year, I am doing a live blog of a QuarterHorse stakes race that is held at that Oklahoma City racetrack.

Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on Horse Racing’. Tonight, it is Los Alamitos Race Course’s Late Pick 3 featuring the Trials of the 2023 Brad McKenzie Winter Championship.

There are two races for the BWWC Trials. The first race will feature #2 Empressum. Empressum (2-5) is a 5-year-old gelding, who has won two of the last three races at Los Alamitos. He will be rivaled by Scoops Dynasty and London Toby.

In the second trial, the favorite of this race is #3 Apolitical Pence. Apolitical Pence (1-5) finished 3rd in the Champion of Champions (Empressum). AP will be chased by #4 Stuck in Probate and #6 Letty Cartel.

The St. Louis Derby is the featured race at Collinsville’s Fairmount. It has a $250K purse. The favorite of this race is #5 Rattle N Roll at 5-2.
 
It is the final leg of Middle Pick 3 that features races 4-6.

This Futurity has a purse of $285K. The First Leg of the Late Pick 4 is the Freshman Fillies. It will be followed by the Freshman Stakes. And then before the Futurity, it is the Jens L List Jr. Memorial.

In the Otts Boy won the 2022 Ruidoso Futurity. He is not racing in Today’s Middle Leg of the Quarter Horse Triple Crown. That will leave the door open for #9 Get Here Fast. GHF has a morning line of 5-2.
 
The other stakes race in this post, is the 2022 Rainbow QH Juvenile Stakes. It is the Consolation Race to the 2022 Rainbow QH Futurity. #7 Cartel Kisses is the favorite at 3-1.
