A few weeks ago, Jeriko (2-1 Morning Line Favorite) and Future Version won the Trails of the BMWCS. Future Version took advantage of Apollitical Pence (Retired after this race) having problems midway through those trials. Now FV will have to race Jeriko, along with #3 Scoops Dynasty (5-2) and #7 London Toby (7-2).

All of the California QuarterHorse eyes on Apollitcal Pence (Last Year’s Winner; 4-5 M/L) as the 8-year-old gelding is the favorite of in the 8th race on Los Al’s Card and the penultimate leg of the Late Pick 4. He will be challenged by #6 Mr. Racy Perry (6-1) and the #4 Hes Chickless (3-1).
 
The other trial will have #2 Scoops Dynasty (8-5). The 5-year-old gelding will have to outrun #5 Jeriko (9-5). And #3 Take a Swing of This (4-1).

​Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on Horse Racing’. This Afternoon, it is the 2023 Rainbow Futurity.
 
Last Month, Let’s Leave ended up winning the 2023 Ruidoso Futurity. However, he skipped the trials for the Rainbow Futurity and will not participate.
 
So now the favorite of the Middle Leg of the Quarter Horse Triple Crown belongs to #7 Dark NME (5-2 Morning Line). She had the fastest time on Day 1 of the Trials, back on July 30th. Now the 2-year-old filly will be looking to take the $1 Million 400-yard sprint This Afternoon.
 
She will have to ward off the likes of Wired 440 and Scream Machine to capture this race.
 
Also in this blog post, it is the consolation race for participating in the Rainbow Futurity Trails, 2023 Rainbow Quarter Horse Juvenile Stakes. #3 Dezingner Jeanz is the favorite at 5-2. She will have to fend off #5 Heavenly Snow Eagle (7-2) and #1 BP Down for a Corona (10-1).
