​Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on Horse Racing’. Tonight, it is Los Alamitos Racecourse’s 2023 Ed Burke $1 Million Futurity.
 
This race will feature an unbeaten. #8 Political Rivalry has been the fastest horse for each race he participated in during his career. He will look to keep #3 Heza Good Reason (6-1) & #1 Kevins Wise Corona (3-1) from winning the near $1 Million Prize.
 
That Futurity is not the only stakes race, in this Late Pick 6. Los Alamitos will have 2 mixed-bred stakes races. The first one is a race between Fillies & Mares in the 1000 Yard Fillies & Mares Summer Stakes. That race is the 4th race of Tonight’s Card and the 1st Leg of the Late Pick 6. In Race 6, geldings will participate in the 1000 Yard Summer Championship Stakes.
