Although the game is played in Green Bay, this game is a neutral site and considered a home game for the ‘Golden Domers’. Notre Dame has played in AT&T Stadium, Yankee Stadium, as examples for their Stadium Series. Tonight, they get to play on the field that Brett Favre, Aaron Rodgers, and Reggie White all played for the ‘Green & Gold’. And the Irish will play against the Wisconsin Badgers.
 
Notre Dame will have Sophomore Quarterback CJ Carr and Senior Wide Receiver Jordan Faison as returning starters for the Irish. The Irish are looking to get back to the College Football Playoff, after being denied due to their opening game loss to Miami Hurricanes, last season.
 
For the Badgers, they haven’t had success since the expansion of Big Ten+ back in 2024. They were 5-7 in 2024, and they regressed to 4-8 last year. They will have a conference schedule where they won’t have to play Michigan, Ohio State, nor Oregon this season. So, they need to take advantage of that schedule.
 
But for tonight’s game Badgers Head Coach Luke Fickell will turn to Junior Transfer Colton Joseph at quarterback. Joseph is one of about 36 transfers on this Wisconsin Badger Football program.

​Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on College Football’. Tonight, it is a 2025-26 College Football Playoff at The Cotton Bowl Classic. Between The Miami (FL) Hurricanes and The Ohio State Buckeyes.
 
The Hurricanes jumped out to a 5-0 Start. But then they dropped the next 2 out of 3 games, before winning 5 straight games. Their last game they out last Texas A&M in College Station in the 1st Round of The 2025-26 College Football Playoff. Now they get to face an Ohio State team, who looking to repeat as National Champions.
 
For The Buckeyes, they were able to defeat Michigan in Ann Arbor, a month ago. But the following week they lost to Indiana in the 2025 Big Ten Football Championship. However, they were able to be ranked #2, good enough for a 1st Round Bye. So, their run to repeat as national champions begins Tonight.
 
The Hurricanes are led by Senior Quarterback Carson Beck in passing. Miami (FL) is led by Junior running back Mark Fletcher, Junior. And Freshman Wide Receiver Malachi Toney leads The Coral Gables-Based University in receiving.
 
As for The Buckeyes, they are led by Sophomore Quarterback Julian Sayin in passing. Ohio State is led by Freshman Running Back Bo Jackson in receiving. And Sophomore Wide Receiver Jeremiah Smith leads the 9-Time National Champions in receiving.

Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on College Football’. This Afternoon, it is the 2025 New Mexico Bowl between The North Texas Mean Green (11-2) and The San Diego State Aztecs (9-3).
 
The Mean Green had themselves a good season. Although they came up short in The American Conference Championship at Tulane, they a program record in ‘Reach, Revenue, and Visibility’ for 2025 Season. This afternoon will cap off a historic season for North Texas.
 
For the Aztecs, they had a good season. But they are coming off an overtime loss to New Mexico, preventing them from making it to the Mountain West Championship Game. But a victory against the Mean Green could help them recover from that disaster back on Black Friday.
 
North Texas is led by Freshman Quarterback Drew Mestemaker in passing. The Mean Green is led by Freshman Running Back Caleb Hawkins in rushing. And Wyatt Young leads The Denton-Based University in receiving.

​Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on College Football’. Tonight, it is a 2025-26 College Football Playoff 1st Round Game, between the Tulane Green Wave and Ole Miss Rebels.
 
Back on September 20th, Ole Miss defeated Tulane 45-10. But in that game, The Rebels were coached by Lane Kiffin. Well, Kiffin left Ole Miss for their conference rival LSU. Now Ole Miss will turn to their defensive coordinator Pete Golding to be their head coach. This will be a game to see the psyche of The Rebels.
 
For the Green Wave, they are coming off winning the 2025 American Conference Championship, by defeating North Texas in New Orleans. Tulane is coming into this game with nothing to lose against an old-SEC rival.
 
Tulane is led by Jake Retzlaff in passing and rushing. The Green Wave is led by Shazz Preston in receiving.
 
As for the Rebels, they are led by Trinidad Chambliss in passing. Ole Miss is led by Kewan Lacy in rushing. And Harrison Wallace, III leads the Oxford-Based University in receiving.

I don't think James Madison should be in The 2025 College Football Playoff. The Dukes lost at Louisville. Louisville lost to Clemson. And Clemson lost to Duke. I would take Duke out, if it weren't for U Conn (Blue Devils lost to Huskies) having a 9-3 record. 

​Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on College Football’. Tonight, it is the 2025 Big Ten Football Championship Game. Between the #2 Indiana Hoosiers (12-0) and the #1 Ohio State Buckeyes (12-0).
 
This is a battle of #1 versus #2. The Buckeyes are #1 and the Hoosiers are #2. Indiana has a conference point differential of +29.8, while the Buckeyes have a point differential of +27.3. Both teams averaged around 4 touchdowns. The question is their strength of schedule.
 
Indiana’s strongest victories are at Oregon, at Penn State (Gus Johnson ‘Give him the Heisman! Call), at Iowa, and Conference USA Champion Kennesaw State. While the Buckeyes have victories over Texas, at Illinois, and coming off defeating Michigan for the first time since 2019.
 
The Hoosier Faithful is hoping that this game, being played at Lucas Oil Stadium, will be a home team for the Crimson and White. Indiana will be playing for their first Big Ten Championship since 1967 (Program’s lone appearance in the Rose Bowl). However, The Buckeye Faithful travels no matter where they play. And a few hours’ drive from Columbus to Indianapolis through I-70 is no problem for Scarlet and Gray.
 
Then there is the Heisman Trophy Watch. Hoosiers Quarterback Fernando Mendoza and Ohio State’s Quarterback Julian Sayin are two favorites for the annual individual college football award. Whoever plays well and leads their team to victory, will more than likely convince the voters to give the Heisman Trophy to either Mendoza and Sayin.
 
Indiana is led by Junior Quarterback Mendoza in passing. The Hoosiers are led by Senior Running Back Roman Hemby in rushing. While Omar Cooper, Junior leads the 2-Time Big Ten Championship in receiving.
 
As for The Buckeyes, they are led by Sophomore Quarterback Sayin in passing. Ohio State is led by Freshman Running Back Bo Jackson in rushing. And Sophomore Wide Receiver Jeremiah Smith leads the 39-Time Big Ten Champions in receiving.

Nebraska is on a 2-game winning streak. However, they are on a 5-game losing streak vs. Minnesota. They are hoping Sophomore Quarterback Dylan Raiola will lead the Huskers to get a victory in Minneapolis.

For the Gophers, they are coming off a victory over Purdue in their homecoming game. Now Minnesota is on 6 days rest, for a chance to extend their winning streak against Nebraska.

Cornhuskers are led by Dylan Raiola in passing. Nebraska is led by Emmett Johnson in rushing. And Nyziah Hunter leads the Lincoln-Based University in receiving.

As for the Gophers, they are led by Drake Lindsey in passing. Minnesota is led by Fame Ijeboi in rushing. And Le’Meke Brockington leads the Minneapolis-Based University in receiving.
