Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on College Football’. Tonight, it is a Pac-12 Showdown, between Oregon Ducks and UCLA Bruins.
Ducks are in a tied-on top of the Pac-12 North, with their in-state rival Oregon State. They would like to run the table including defeating the Beavers on November 27th, and the Pac-12 Championship in hopes of a spot in the College Football Playoff. For the Bruins, they are tied with Arizona State for 2nd Place (Arizona State has tiebreaker due to Head-to-Head). But must go to Salt Lake City, to play Utah Next Saturday. They would like to carry some momentum, going into that game. Statistically, Ducks are led by Anthony Brown in Passing. Travis Dye leads Oregon in rushing. Finally, Johnny Johnson, III leads the Eugene University in receiving. As for the Bruins, their passing leader is quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson in passing. Zach Charbonnet leads UCLA in rushing. Finally, Greg Dulcich leads the Los Angeles University in receiving. Offensively, Ducks move the ball on average at 426.7 YPG (216.3 through the air and 210.3 on the ground). Defensively, they yield 407.8 YPG (270.5 defending against the pass and 137.3 rushing defense). For the Bruins, they move the ball at 425.4 YPG (205.3 through the air and 220.1 on the ground). Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on College Football’. Tonight, it is an ACC Atlantic Division Football game, between Clemson Tigers and Syracuse Orange.
Tigers are struggling for their standards, after losing Trevor Lawrence and Travis Etienne to the NFL. They are replaced by DJ Uiagalelei at quarterback and Kobe Pace at running back. Still Tigers are trying to find success on offense. What they are showing a lot of this season is defense. Their defense yields 306.4 YPG (203.8 through the air and 102.6 on the ground). Dabo Swinney’s Defense will be tested by an Orange running game which gains 242.8 YPG. Sean Tucker is the Orange’s leading rusher. Last Month, Tucker rushed for 168 yards, 31 carries, and a touchdown against Liberty. Clemson plans on putting 8 or 9 men in the box and make Garrett Shrader win it for Syracuse. Hawkeyes are hoping to get off to their best start since 2015. They are relying on quarterback Spencer Petras and running back Tyler Goodson to give Iowa a balanced attack on offense. For the Terrapins, they are getting an air attack from Tua Tagovailoa’s Brother Taulia. He leads the Big Ten with 1340 passing yards. Hawkeyes gain 293.0 YPG (171.8 in the air and 121.3 on the ground). Defensively, they allow 271.5 YPG (187 in the air and 84.5 on the ground). As for the Terrapins, they gain 519.3 YPG (353.3 in the air and 166 on the ground). But defensively, they allow 324.3 YPG (212.5 in the air and 111.8 on the ground).
