Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on College Football’. Tonight, it is a Big Ten Football game, between the Penn State Nittany Lions (9-2, 6-2 Big Ten) and the Michigan State Spartans (4-7, 2-6 Big Ten).
This rivalry game is the battle for the Land Grant Trophy. It is the 28th edition of this rivalry game, with Penn State winning 17 of the first 27 games. Penn State won last year’s game.

For the Nittany Lions, they would like to get into a New Year’s Six Bowl. An impressive win will help them make their case.

As for the Spartans, they would like to end this lost season on a high note. Capturing the Land Grant Trophy will be a silver lining to a disappointing season.

The Nittany Lions are led by Sophomore Quarterback Drew Allar in passing. Nicholas Singleton leads Penn State in rushing. And KeAndre Lambert-Smith is the State College University’s leading receiver.

The Spartans are led by Red Shirt Freshman Quarterback Katin Houser in passing. Michigan State is led by Nate Carter in rushing. And Montorie Foster, Junior leads the East Lansing School in receiving.

It is the Penn State Nittany Lions and Michigan State Spartans, for the Land-Grant Trophy. The Game will begin shortly.​
