Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on Horse Racing’. This Afternoon, it is 2022 Rainbow Quarter Horse Futurity.
 
In the Otts Boy won the 2022 Ruidoso Futurity. He is not racing in Today’s Middle Leg of the Quarter Horse Triple Crown. That will leave the door open for #9 Get Here Fast. GHF has a morning line of 5-2.
 
The other stakes race in this post, is the 2022 Rainbow QH Juvenile Stakes. It is the Consolation Race to the 2022 Rainbow QH Futurity. #7 Cartel Kisses is the favorite at 3-1.
 
This post will cover Races 8-10 of the Ruidoso Downs Racetrack & Casino slate of races.

​Race 8 (2022 Rainbow Quarter Horse Juvenile Stakes), 400 yards, Dirt, $100K, 12 horses:
As mentioned, Cartel Kisses is the favorite at 3-1. #1 JP General is a 20-1 long shot. While there are two scratches. #11 Doin It Just for Fun & #12 BuyMyLadyACorona.

20 MTP: #1 JP General is now an even-odd favorite.
15 MTP: #5 Illegal Moonflash is a 22-1 long shot. 
5 MTP: #7 Cartel Kisses is  a 5-2 favorite.
2 MTP: CK is a 2-1 favorite. While IM is a 25-1 long shot.                                                                                

Post: #3 is near 2 & 1.

The Penultimate Leg of this race is the 2022 Rainbow Quarter Horse Futurity. As mentioned, #9 GetHereFast is the 5-2 favorite. While #6 Made the Cut is a 30-1 long shot.

20 MTP: GHF opens up as an 8-5 favorite.
15 MTP: #2 Curls Joyful Wagon is a 25-1 long shot.
10 MTP: #5 Cyber Attack is near his morning line of 3-1. He is at 5-2.
5 MTP: CA & GHF are 2-1 co-favorites. 
2 MTP: GHF is the favorite at 2-1. While #2 Curls Joyful Wagon is a 22-1 long shot.

Eye on the Card is the winner of the 2022 Rainbow QH Futurity. While Cartel Kisses wins the 2022 Rainbow QH Juvenile Stakes. 

The Final Leg of the Quarter Horse Triple Crown Futurities at Ruidoso Downs, will be the 2022 All-American Futurity. AAF will be held on Labor Day.
