Hello, and welcome to another edition of ’Live-Blogging on Shish on College Football’. Tonight it is a Top Ten battle as Notre Dame Fighting Irish take on Georgia Bulldogs. This is the finale of a home-and-home that started in 2017, when Georgia defeated Notre Dame 20-19, in South Bend. Now the series comes to Athens, Georgia, where the Bulldogs are the home team.

The Irish are enjoying the early success of quarterback Ian Book. But they are hoping that they can an ’A’ game out of him, along with a commitment to the running game.

The Bulldogs don’t have that problem. In the three games they played, they average 286.7 YPG.

They also have leadership from their quarterback Jake Fromm. Like Book, has not thrown an interception. However, Fromm threw one less touchdown than Book, but one more game played than the Irish QB.

It is Notre Dame Fighting Irish taking on Georgia Bulldogs, coming up shortly.

Irish are in their road white jerseys, gold helmets and pants. Bulldogs are in their home red jerseys and helmets, and gray pants.

Final Thoughts:
Although the Irish lost, they should they can hang with an elite team. They just couldn't move the ball on the ground, it got predictable in the 3rd and Early 4th Quarter. For the Bulldogs, they looked knicked up, but Fromm and Swift led them to victory. 

Irish will host Virginia Next Saturday. While the Bulldogs will visit Knoxville, to play Tennessee on October 5th, 2019.
