Final Thoughts:
Just as they thought, this game was going to be another close one. However it was the Panthers Defense who clamped down when they needed to in this game. This Panthers win keep them alive in their quest for another ACC Coastal Divsion Championship. They need to win out and Virginia Tech to beat Virginia on Black Friday, for the Panthers to have a rematch against Clemson, in the ACC Championship Game. 

For the Tar Heels, they may not make it to a bowl this year. However, this program appears to have a bright near future, as long Mack Brown is the head coach and Sam Howell is the quarterback. 

Tar Heels will host Mercer, Next Saturday. While the Panthers will travel to Blacksburg, to face Virginia Tech Next Saturday.
