Although the Royals are in last place, they are not out of contention for a playoff spot. They are 4 games behind Houston Astros, for the final wild card spot.
Meanwhile, the Cardinals are sitting pretty at only 1 game over .500. They are 3 GB the Cubs for N.L. Central Lead and are in 2nd place in N.L. Central.
Tonight’s Starting Pitchers are a pair of right-handers. Brad Keller for the Royals and Jack Flaherty for the Redbirds.

Final Thoughts:
A 5-run, 5th Inning was the difference in this game, for the Cardinals. They need to sure up their fielding, as they got away with 3 errors. 

For the Royals, they just had a rough game. They just want to try again tomorrow. 

Royals will start Matt Harvey, while Adam Wainwright will throw for Cardinals, Tomorrow Night.
