Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on Mixed Martial Arts’. Tonight, it is a Shish on Sports Premiere, as I am live blogging my first Bellator event. Tonight’s event for the ViacomCBS MMA Promotion, is Bellator 244: Bader vs. Nemkov. I will be posting the Main Card of this event.
 
In the Main Event, it is a light heavyweight title fight. As double champion Ryan ‘Darth’ Bader takes on Russian Vadim Nemkov.
 
Also, on this card is a Women’s Featherweight Fight, between Julia Budd takes on Jessy Mille. Former UFC Iron Chin: Roy ‘Big Country’ Nelson, will take on Valentin Moldavsky. And the first fight of the Main Card will be a middleweight clash, between John Slater taking on Andrew Kapel.

It is great to hear Mike Goldberg calling an MMA Event. I can't wait to hear his finish catchphrase. 

Josh Thompson is also a color analyst for this Bellator Event.

John Salter (17-4) vs. Andrew Kapel (15-6) (Middleweight about):
Salter is in blue trunks. Kapel is in black trunks. Kapel has advantages in height and reach. Dan Mirgalotia is the referee. 

Round 1:
4:44: Salter with a leg kick.
4:37: Kapel with a left hook.
4:27: Kapel with a leg kick.
4:22: Kapel with a leg kick.
4:15: Salter takes down Kapel.
3:30: Both fighters get back off the mat.
3:00: Salter takes down Kapel.

Nemkov has a 3-inch reach advantage. Bader has a 2-inch advantage.

Bader is in red gloves. While Nemkov is in the blue gloves.  Kerry Hatley is the referee.

4:47: Nemkov with some jabs to the body.
4:32: Nemkov with a jab.
4:17: Bader with a leg kick.

2:42: Nemkov with a kick to the back of the head.
2:30: Nemkov with some ground and pound.
2:15: Bader gets back off the mat. Nemkov hits him again. 
2:04: Bader gets back off the mat, running away from Nemkov. However, Nemkov hits Bader again.
1:58: Ref ends the fight. 

Result: Nemkov wins by TKO, 3:02 into Round 2. Vadim Nemkov is the Bellator MMA Light Heavyweight Champion.

Final Thoughts:
Vadim Nemkov needed a kick to the back of the head and a barrage of ground and pound to win Bellator MMA Light Heavyweight Championship. This was the Finish of the Night.
