Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on Bare Knuckle Boxing’. Tonight, it is the Main Card of Bare-Knuckle Fighting Championship’s 48th Premiere Live Event. The Main Event of this card is former UFC fighter John Dodson (2-0-0) will go up against J.R. Ridge (3-1-0) for the BKFC Men’s Flyweight Championship. Dodson has the home-ring advantage as he is a native of Albuquerque. Meanwhile Ridge is coming off decisive victory over Chancey Wilson in BKFC 32. The winner of this fight becomes BKFC’s inaugural champion. In the Co-Main Event, it is Gee ‘The Cutman’ Perez (3-0-0) taking on social media influencer Bryce Hall (BKFC Debut). Perez is not the first cutperson to also fight for BKFC. But he is undefeated and has beef with Bryce Hall. They had a confrontation at the Weigh-Ins of BKFC 45. And now Perez will like to introduce Hall into BKFC. Hall decided to get trained by BKFC Double Champion Lorenzo Hunt for this anticipated fight. The TikTok and YouTube influencer is looking to go the same route as Jake and Logan Paul and Famez, to get from social media influencer turned combat sports athlete. Dodson's victory was the Performance of the Night. While the Fight of the Night belonged to Donald Sanchez vs. Blake LaCaze. And the Knockout of the Night belonged to Keith Richardson knocking out Derek Perez. BKFC will head to South Florida for the Promotion's Prospect Series on Thursday August 24th.
