Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on Bare Knuckle Boxing’. Tonight, it is featured bouts of BKFC 47-Mundell vs. Richman. Mike Richman (5-1-0) is coming off his first loss in BKFC against Lorenzo Hunt in KnuckleMania III. He gets another title shot Tonight against David Mundell. For Mundell (6-1-0), he is on a 4-fight winning streak. This is his first fight of 2023. Back in December, he defeated Francesco Ricchi in BKFC 34. Now he gets to fight a Mike Richman, who despite being knocked out by Hunt, he showed speed that not too many fighters have. Lorenzo Hunt is the BKFC Light Heavyweight Champion. However, they need an interim champion. So, Dave Feldman and company will have Jared Warren (5-2-0) and Josh Dyer (2-1-0, 1 NC) will fight for the Interim Championship Strap, in the co-main event. Warren is on a 2-fight winning streak. This is his first bout of 2023. Whereas Dyer is looking for his 1st contest since his May 13th victory over Dakota Cochrane. But Glenn called it a slip. :00: The End of Round 2. Result: Warren wins Round 2, 10-8. Glenn deducts a point for a punch to the back of the head by Dyer. Result: The Fight becomes a no contest. Main Event-David Mundell vs. Mike Richman (Middleweight Championship Bout): Mundell is in the blue and gold trunks. While Richman is the snow leopard trunks. Dan Mirgaliotta is the referee. Result: David Mundell wins by KO, 1:54 into Round 2. Final Thoughts: Mundell got knocked down by Mike Richman and got back up the mat. Mundell knocks Richman down 3 consecutive times. The third one ended the fight. So, Dave Mundell retains the BKFC Middleweight Strap. The Dyer and Warren fight ended with a no contest, due to Warren unable to continue after getting a blow to the back of the head by Dyer. So the BKFC Interim Lightweight Championship is vacant. The Knockout of the Night belonged to Brandon Allen, who knocked out Seth Shaffer :50 into Round 2. While the Fight of the Night belonged to Ryan Reber defeating Travis Thompson in a bout that went to overtime. Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship will head to New Mexico, for BKFC 48 on Friday August 11th. John Dodson will take on JR Ridge for the BKFC Flyweight Championship. This is Paul Shishkoff, Junior.
