Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on Baseball’. Tonight, it is Game 4 of the 2024 American League Championship Series, between the New York Yankees and the Cleveland Guardians.

The home team has won all 3 games. Yankees took the first 2 games of the ALCS.

In Game 3, The Guardians had a 3-1 lead and then Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton took Emmanuel Clase yard, to give the Yankees the lead. Then Jhonkensy Noel ties the game with a 2-run homer off Luke Weaver. Then David Fry hits a Walk-Off Homer in the Bottom of 10th Inning, off Clay Holmes.

Now the series is in Game 4 and the Yankees look to get a 3-1series lead. For the Guardians, they need a win, to make this a Best-of-3 Series.

Game 4 Starting Pitchers are a pair of right-handers. The Yankees will turn to Luis Gil (4.18 P/PA, 2.22 K/BB, and 0.64 GO/AO). Not only are the Supernovas are a favorite to win the ‘Match for a Million', they are the host team for this inaugural tournament. For the Novas, they need to get kills from Beth De La Cruz.

For the Mojo, they are the hottest team right now. As they won 5 out of their last 6 matches. San Diego needs a strong performance by Willow Johnson & Libero Shara Venegas.

Both teams split the four regular season matches. The winner will play Grand Rapids Rise, for the 'Match for a Million' on Saturday Afternoon.

Stars took Game 1 & 2. Admirals won Game 3. However, the Admirals will be down a skater. Reid Schaefer is suspended a game for a charging penalty turned into a game misconduct.

Now the Admirals need a win to force a Game 5.
