Tonight, it is a Big Ten Men’s Basketball game, between Rutgers Scarlet Knights (15-13, 7-10 Big Ten, 90 NET) and Nebraska Cornhuskers (20-9, 10-8, 41 NET). Scarlet Knights defeated Michigan on Thursday Night, before that they dropped a 3-game losing streak. They need a road Quad 1 victory to build on their tournament resume. That is why they need to defeat Nebraska. For Nebraska, a win inches them closer to a double-bye in the Big Ten Men’s Basketball Tournament. With the loss, Rutgers are in 12th place in the Big Ten, as their chances for a bye is dwindling. For Nebraska, their win lifts them in sole position for 4th place and the final bid for double-bye.
