Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on College Basketball’. Tonight, it is a Big Ten Men’s Basketball game, between Rutgers Scarlet Knights (15-13, 7-10 Big Ten, 90 NET) and Nebraska Cornhuskers (20-9, 10-8, 41 NET).

Scarlet Knights defeated Michigan on Thursday Night, before that they dropped a 3-game losing streak. They need a road Quad 1 victory to build on their tournament resume. That is why they need to defeat Nebraska.

For Nebraska, a win inches them closer to a double-bye in the Big Ten Men’s Basketball Tournament. And a loss by Rutgers could affect Fred Hoiberg’s Program in getting to the Dance, later This Month.

It is the Rutgers Scarlet Knights and the Nebraska Cornhuskers, coming up shortly.

Final Thoughts:
This was a poor shooting game. But Cornhuskers overcome their 13 turnovers with their rebounds (42-38). And Nebraska wasn't as bad with their shooting as Rutgers. 

With the loss, Rutgers are in 12th place in the Big Ten, as their chances for a bye is dwindling. 

For Nebraska, their win lifts them in sole position for 4th place and the final bid for double-bye.

Rutgers will head to Madison, to face Wisconsin on Thursday Night. While Nebraska will head to Ann Arbor, to face Michigan, Next Sunday.
