Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on Baseball’. Tonight, it is Game 5 of the National League Championship Series, between Atlanta Braves and Los Angeles Dodgers.
Braves are one win away from their first World Series appearance since 1999. They have been hitting the ball when they needed throughout this series. For the Dodgers, it doesn’t look good. They will be without their third baseman Justin Turner. And they want to do a bullpen game tonight. Right-Hander Joe Kelly will be the Dodgers’ Opening Pitchcer in Game 5. He will go against left-hander Max Fried, tonight. Fried comes has not recorded a strikeout/walk ratio, he has a 3.52 pitches/plate appearance, and 0.62 groundout/airout ratio. While Kelly comes in with a K/BB ratio of 5.00, 4.24 P/PA, and 3.00 GO/AO. It is Atlanta Braves and Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 5 of the National League Championship Series, coming up shortly. Starting Lineups: Atlanta Braves:
Los Angeles Dodgers:
