Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on Women’s Soccer’. Tonight, it is a National Women’s Soccer League Match, between Houston Dash and Washington Spirit.

The last time these two clubs faced each other was in May. It was a home match for the Spirit, but it was played in BBVA Stadium. In that game, Ashley Hatch scored the game-winning goal, to defeat the Dash 2-1.

Tonight, both clubs are separated by one point. A Spirit win will move them to a tie for 2nd in the NWSL Standings. While a Dash win, will have them in a 4-way tie for 3rd.

It is Houston Dash and Washington Spirit, coming up shortly.

Final Thoughts:
Dash came back from 2-0, to get goals for Latsko and Abam. For the Spirit, they were not able to get Ashley Hatch and Trinity Rodman to gel in the 2nd Half. 

With the draw, the Spirit is tied for 6th with OL Reign, but has played one more match than Reign. As for the Spirit, they are still at 8th Place.

Houston Dash will host Racing Louisville FC on Sunday August 29th, 2021. While the Spirit will host Orlando Pride, on Sunday August 22nd, 2021.
