Hello and welcome to the first live blog on Shish on Women's Soccer, for the 2019 season. Tonight it is Houston Dash hosting Reign FC. The Dash are coming off a season, where they didn't make the playoffs. Whereas the Reign made the NWSL Playoffs, but they lost two straight games to the Portland Thorns, to end the former Seattle franchise's season.

The Dash were led last year by Rachel Daly. While the Reign were led by one of the best players in this league, Megan Rapinoe. 

It is Houston Dash hosting Reign FC , coming up shortly.

Houston Dash is in their home orange. Reign is in their road white uniforms.

Final Thoughts:
The Dash played aggressive, they outshot the Reign 16-9, in tonight's match. But Jane Campbell was able to make up for giving the Reign a penaly kick in stoppage time of the 2nd Half, with a block of Jodi Taylor's penalty kick. 

The Dash will travel to New Jersey, to play Sky Blue, on Saturday. While Reign will be at their new home (Tacoma) to play Orlando Pride, Next Sunday.
