Hello and welcome to another edition of 'Live Blogging on Shish on Football'. Tonight it is the Oakland Raiders and Philadelphia Eagles. The Raiders come in with a record of 6-8, while the Eagles come in with a record of 12-2. The Raiders are eliminated from playoff contention, while the Eagles need to win either one of their remaining 2 games to clinch home-field advantage throughout the NFC Playoffs. 

The Raiders are coming in tonight's game playing for pride. It has been a disappointing year for the silver and black. They hope that they can do better in 2018. And especially when they relocate to Las Vegas in 2020. 

As for the Eagles, they are hoping that quarterback Nick Foles will pick up where Carson Wentz left off, and lead the Eagles to Home-Field Advantage throughout the NFC Playoffs. 

Statistically the Raiders average 20.1 PPG, and move the ball at 326.8 YPG (233.1 through the air and 93.7 on the ground). Defensively the Raiders allow 23.1 PPG, while yielding 349.3 YPG (238.6 through the air and 110.7 on the ground). They have a turnover/takeaway ratio of -9. 

As for the Eagles, they average 31.3 PPG, and move the ball at 386.9 YPG (246.4 through the air and 140.5 on the ground). Defensively the Eagles allow 19.9 PPG, while yielding 309.2 YPG (237.7 through the air and 71.5 on the ground). Their turnover/takeaway ratio is +9.

Final Thoughts:
Well even though the Eagles clinched home-field advantage, they don't look like the team to beat in the NFC, with Nick Foles as their quarterback. As for the Raiders, they lost another game due to the turnover bug. 

The Raiders will play the Chargers on Sunday, while the Eagles will host the Cowboys to end their regular season.
