​Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on Professional Football’. This Afternoon, it is 2021-22 NFC Wild Card Game, between San Francisco 49ers and Dallas Cowboys.
 
What can I say? One of the most storied playoff matchups in NFL History gets renewed. These two teams have faced each other in the 1980’s and 1990’s. They have a collective 10 Vince Lombardi Trophies between them. Hall of Famers like Joe Montana, Jerry Rice, Ronnie Lott for the Niners and Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith, Michael Irvin for the Cowboys. Charles Haley, Ken Norton, Junior, and of course Deion Sanders playing for both franchises.
 
In this year’s edition of Niners/Cowboys, Niners are known for their offensive scheme that utilizes Deebo Samuel, George Kittle, and Kyle Juszczyk. The key for San Francisco is to get decent quarterback play out of Jimmy Garoppolo.
 
For the Cowboys, they are playing like the polarizing franchise that they are. They are playing well on offense and defense. Dak Prescott leading the way with Dallas’ passing game. While the defense has Micah Parsons and Trevon Diggs making plays on the defensive side of the ball. The key for Cowboys, is to try and get Ezekiel Elliott involved in the running game. This game could be a battle at the line of scrimmage.

49ers are in their red jerseys, gold helmets and pants. While Cowboys are in their home white jerseys, silver helmets, baby blue pants.

Final Thoughts:
A speechless ending in this one. Despite the ill-advice run by Dak Prescott. Cowboys committed 14 penalties and gave up 5 sacks. 

For the victorious 49ers, they played more disciplined and was able to gash the Cowboys at the line of scrimmage. 49ers ran the ball 38 times for 169 yards, 2 TDs, While Cowboys ran 21 times for 77 yards, TD

49ers will now head to Green Bay to face the Packers, Next Weekend. While the Cowboys will have to think about what could have been during the offseason.
