Live-Blogging: 2022 PFL MMA Playoffs-Lightweights & Light Heavyweights

​​Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on Mixed Martial Arts’. Tonight, it is the Main Card of the Professional Fighters League’s 2022 PFL Playoffs-Lightweights & Light Heavyweights.

The Main Event of this Main Card features a rematch of a PFL 5 Bout, between Anthony Pettis and Stevie Ray. Ray defeated Pettis by TKO (Modified Twister). Now these two will fight for the right to be participating in PFL Championship Night and for a chance at $1 Million.

In the Co-Main Event, it is a Omari Akhemdov taking on Josh Silveira in the Light Heavyweight Division.  The winner of this Fight will take on the winner of the Wilkinson/Monte scrap. While Pettis/Ray winner will take on the winner of OAM/Martinez.

Stevie Ray defeated Anthony Pettis by unanimous decision. The Scot will take on the 'Canadian Mobster' Olivier Aubin-Mercier in the 2022 PFL Lightweight Championship. 

For the 2022 PFL Light Heavyweight Championship, 'Razor' Robert Wilkinson will take on Omari Akhmedov. Razor's knee told Delan Monte's nose 'Hey Yo', in a 1st Round Knockout.

Omari used his boxing and cardio to overcome Josh Silveira's 4 takedowns, for a decision victory. 

PFL will head to the United Kingdom, where the next two playoff events will be held in Cardiff, Wales & London, for the Next Two Weeks.
