Final Thoughts:
Mets jumped on Kyle Wright with 5 runs in the first three innings. But Mets' wild pitches were the reason for the Braves' 4 runs.

And then Mets Manager Buck Showalter rolled the dice by getting 6 outs from Edwin Diaz. And Diaz gave the Mets that 6-out save in Game 1 of a 5-game series against the Defending World Series Champion Atlanta Braves.

Tomorrow's Starting Pitchers are right-hander Ian Anderson for the Braves. And Taijan Walker will go for the Mets.
