Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on Horse Racing’. Tonight, it is Stickney Illinois’ Hawthorne Racecourse. Tonight, I will be live blog Hawthorne’s Late Pick 4 including the last race of the night, where the SuperHighFive in that race is $40,000.  
 
All four races are pacing contests.
 
Here are the races for the Late Pick 4.

5​Race 10, 1 Mile, Pace, 10 Horses:
 
For this first race it is a battle of colts and geldings. There is one scratch and that is #4 Master Ken. The favorite of this race is #6 Ryans Ambassador at 8-5. And there are three 25-1 long shots in this race. #5 Life in Color, #9 Pretty Boy Shooter, and #10 URKillinMeSmalls.

10 MTP: RA opens up the near post wagering as a 3-5 favorite. 
8 MTP: LiC is a 50-1 long shot.
6 MTP: URKMS hovering around his morning line of 25-1. He is currently at 24-1 odds.
4 MTP: #7 Master Sage had a morning line of 20-1. But now is down to 6-1 odds.
2 MTP: RA is the favorite at 4-5. While LiC is a 37-1 long shot.

6 MTP: #6 Moment to Shine hovering around his morning line of 4-1. He is at 7-2.
4 MTP: MtS is now at his morning line of 4-1. 
2 MTP: #8 Mudville is the favorite at 4-5. While CILII is a 44-1 long shot.
