Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on Horse Racing’. Tonight, Hawthorne Racecourse will start off its inaugural Winter Wonderland Series with the Leg 1s. There are three races tonight that are first legs of the Winter Wonderland Series. They are apart of the Late Pick 4. The other race is an open race.

Here are the races for the Late Pick 4 featuring Winter Wonderland Series.

Race 5, (Winter Wonderland Series Leg 1-Geldings and Stallions) Mile, Dirt, Pace, 7 horses, $12 K:
For the first race of the Late Pick 4, it is the first race of the Winter Wonderland Series. It is a battle of Geldings and Horses, 4 and up. They are non-winners of $50,000.

The favorite of this race is #1 Hello Sweetie Boy. He will be driven by Todd Warren and the Gelding’s Morning Line is 2-1. The long shot of this race is #5 MyKonos at 20-1.

10 MTP: HSB is the favorite at 2-1 odds.
8 MTP: MyKonos is a 13-1 long shot.
6 MTP: Bet Mine hovering around his morning line of 9-2. He is at 5-1.
4 MTP: #6 Mighty Tony Mac is down fro 15-1, to 7-2. 
2 MTP: HSB is the favorite at 5-2. While MK is a 16-1 long shot.

Race 6, 1 Mile, Dirt, Trot, 6 horses, $13.7 K:

In this next race, it is an open trot. There are no double-digit long shots. The favorite of this race is #5 Simply Swan at 7-5.

6 MTP: #2 Magic Night is a 13-1 long shot.
4 MTP: #4 Walter White is at his morning line of 7-1.

Race 7, (Winter Wonderland Series Leg 1-Fillies and Mares) 1 Mile, Dirt, Pace, 11 horses, $12K:
It is back to the Winter Wonderland Series in this penultimate race of the Late Pick 4. This time it is fillies and mares. #7 Foxy Fuji is the favorite at 7-5. While 8 of the 11 horses in this field are 15-1 long shots.

8 MTP: #9 Martha Max is a 95-1 long shot.
6 MTP: MM went down to 45-1. #6 I'm Over the Enjen is now a 50-1 long shot.
4 MTP: #8 SHECAUGHTTHEKITY is at her morning line of 15-1.
2 MTP: FF is the favorite at 1-2. While IOTE is a 70-1 long shot. And SCTK is at 15-1.

Race 8, (Winter Wonderland Series Leg 1-Geldings) 1 Mile, Dirt, Pace, 8 horses, $12K:

For the finale of the nightcap, it is the Gelding race of Winter Wonderland. #4 Ernie the Moss is the 25-1 long shot. While #2 Let’s Rhyed is the 5-2 favorite.

10 MTP: LR opens up as a 6-5 favorite.

6 MTP: LR is now an even-odd favorite.
4 MTP: #5 Rock Jagger, #6 Round Here Buzz, and #8 Mastery are at 6-1 odds.
