There are 6 stakes races with the purses for those races total over $600,000. All but one is on the turf including the Mystic Lake Derby. The lone stakes race on the dirt is the Minnesota Thoroughbred Association’s Stallion Auction Stakes.

Here are those stakes races at Canterbury Park.

Race 3 (Curtis Sampson Oaks), 1 Mile, Turf, 9 horses:

For this first stakes race, it is the Curtis Sampson Oaks. The favorite of this race is #9 Saranya at 9-5 odds. The long shot of this race is #1 Church Service at 20-1.
